Should this proposal pass, Penumbra's IBC channels and its decentralized exchange will be opened, allowing anyone to unlock privacy for their transactions and trades across the Interchain.

A Gift For The Interchain: Void.Vote

In anticipation of this historic moment, Starling Cybernetics has a gift for the Interchain: Void.Vote.

Void.Vote is the first and currently only governance frontend for Penumbra, empowering Penumbra delegators to vote on governance proposals from the comfort of their web browsers using Prax Wallet, the browser extension for Penumbra.

Stake to Summon the Void

If you want to participate in this momentous occasion, and receive a commemorative token of your participation, you'll want to stake to a validator like Starling Cybernetics in preparation for Monday's proposal: only delegators who have already staked prior to the creation of a proposal are eligible to vote on it.

As noted in the tweet from Penumbra and as we have written about before, every delegator who votes on a Penumbra governance proposal as an outcome of their vote. Voting receipt tokens are strictly limited-edition: once voting for Proposal #1 has closed, there will be no more voted_on_1 tokens created.

With Void.Vote, staking has just gotten even easier: to stake with Starling, just head to that page and click "Stake".

If you stake before Monday, July 29 at 15:00 UTC, you'll be eligible to summon Penumbra's full self from the void.

With great anticipation,
